Ms. Tequila Johnson is a native of Louisiana who has expanded her practice across state lines to the great state of Texas. Ms. Johnson has been a social worker for over 12 yrs. Her zeal for helping people is what motivated her to consider the career field. Through her career journey she has work collectively with a diverse variety of people. Tequila spent the first part of her career as an advocate for children and adolescents of domestic violence. It was within that line of work where she found her love for advocacy and public speaking. Tequila Johnson traveled to several parishes, schools of all ages to provide psychoeducation regarding domestic violence and its impact on the community. In pursuit of her graduate degree Tequila Johnson worked full time in the field of home healthcare as Quality Assurance Supervisor. Ms. Johnson took on a few other leadership positions within the Domestic Violence and Homeless community including Program and Projects Coordinator and Family Advocate. 

After graduating from Grambling State University with her Masters in Social Work; Tequila begin her journey in mental health and counseling working as a behavioral health specialist in inpatient psychiatry. Ms. Johnson devoted 4yrs of care, compassion, and excellence to a local hospital in Fort Worth, TX, (John Peter Smith Hospital of Tarrant County). Within that time framed Ms. Tequila Johnson was able to complete clinical supervision and became a Licensed Clinician Social Worker. Ms. Johnson’s passion for the field of social work did not stop there; she then expanded her expertise to Geriatric Psychiatry. Ms. Johnson served as Clinical Director at Wellbridge Healthcare Fort Worth last position before becoming fulltime private practice Clinician. Ms. Tequila Johnson is also a Clinical Supervisor (Recognized by the Board of Texas Social Work Examiners).
